Protocol Education is looking for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive school in Merton.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and Speech & Language needs.

  • Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering tailored learning activities.

  • Support pupils’ emotional, social, and educational development.

  • Help create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience supporting children with additional needs (in a school, nursery, or care setting).

  • A patient, caring, and proactive attitude.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
