We’re looking for a Team Teach trained SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming specialist setting in Durham. You’ll work closely with pupils who need a calm, confident presence and someone who genuinely “gets it.”

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Supporting pupils with a range of learning and behavioural needs

  • Using de-escalation techniques to create a safe, positive environment

  • Working alongside teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver tailored support

What we’re looking for:

  • Team Teach trained (or open to completing the free training through us!)

  • Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, Autism, or complex needs

  • A patient, nurturing approach and sense of humour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
