A lovely primary school in SW11 is searching for a compassionate and patient SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 pupil with Autism (ASD) who occasionally displays challenging behaviours.
This is a wonderful opportunity to join a warm, inclusive school community that values calm, caring adults who can bring structure, consistency, and a sense of fun to the classroom.
The role includes:

1:1 support for a child with ASD in Year 2

Helping with communication, social interaction, and learning routines
-
Working closely with the SENCO, class teacher, and external specialists

Supporting the pupil through sensory and emotional regulation needs
You’ll be perfect for this if you:

Have experience working with children with ASD and/or challenging needs

Bring patience, empathy, and a sense of humour to your work

Stay calm under pressure and know how to de-escalate with care
