About the Role:
Protocol Education is seeking a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Merton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and helping them thrive both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning difficulties.

Work closely with teachers to deliver personalised learning activities.

Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and inclusion within the classroom.

Support pupils with their emotional, social, and academic development.

Create a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:

Experience supporting children with SEN (in schools or similar settings).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A patient, proactive, and flexible approach.

Ability to build positive relationships with both pupils and staff.

Valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
