SEN Teaching Assistant – Secondary School in Newcastle
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Contract: Long-term, Full-time
Start: ASAP
Pay: £90 to £110 per day
A vibrant secondary school in Newcastle is looking for a patient, grounded SEN TA to support pupils with additional needs. You’ll be part of a caring team who make sure every young person is supported, safe and ready to learn.
What you’ll be doing:

Providing 1:1 or small group support

Helping pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH or speech and language needs

Using strategies shared by the SENCO and teachers
-
Building calm and trusting relationships

Have SEND experience or a strong interest in the area

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
