SEN Teaching Assistant
Salary: £90 – £110 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

A highly supportive and forward-thinking specialist school in West London is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their experienced team. The setting provides a caring, structured environment for children with a range of complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), global developmental delay, and speech, language, and communication needs.

Your Role Will Include:

Supporting students with individualised learning programmes across all areas of the curriculum

Working with children with additional physical, sensory, and communication needs

Encouraging the development of independence, self-confidence, and social interaction

Collaborating with teaching staff, therapists, and support professionals to deliver consistent, high-quality care and education

Promoting a safe, stimulating, and positive learning environment tailored to each child’s needs
Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with children or young people with SEN (either in schools, care, or similar settings)

A patient, adaptable, and nurturing nature
-
Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of teamwork

Confidence supporting pupils with physical, sensory, or medical needs (training can be provided)

A genuine passion for inclusive education and child development
Requirements:

Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (on the Update Service or willing to apply)

Right to work in the UK

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children and young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
