SEN Teaching Assistant – Long-Term Placement

We’re looking for a patient, empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with a range of additional needs in a secondary school in Enfield. This role requires adaptability, care, and a genuine commitment to inclusion.
Your Role:

Provide 1:1 or small-group support for students with SEND

Implement learning strategies under the direction of the SENCO

Encourage independence, confidence, and progress in all learners

Support behaviour and emotional regulation when needed
Requirements:

Previous experience in SEN settings preferred

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Thrive-trained or willingness to complete Thrive training (free via Protocol Education)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
