Are you a patient, nurturing, and resilient individual passionate about supporting children with additional needs? A warm and inclusive primary school in East London (E1 3BW) is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team and provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs.

The Role:

Provide tailored support for pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language, and emotional/behavioural needs

Work 1:1 and in small groups to aid academic, social, and emotional development

Support the class teacher in delivering an inclusive learning experience

Implement EHCP strategies and work closely with SENCO and external agencies

Monitor progress and contribute to regular reviews and assessments
Ideal Candidate:
-
Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school or similar setting
-
Calm, empathetic, and adaptable with a positive attitude
-
Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
-
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child development

A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
