Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

About the Role:
Protocol Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work in one of our partner schools in Merton. You will be supporting children with a range of special educational needs (SEN) including autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and emotional or behavioural challenges. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in pupils’ learning and development.
Responsibilities:

Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN.

Assist the class teacher and SENCO in implementing individual education plans (IEPs).

Encourage students to participate fully in learning activities.

Support children with personal care or physical needs when required.

Promote inclusion and help create a positive learning environment.
Requirements:

Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school or care setting).

A patient, caring, and enthusiastic attitude.
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
-
A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
