SEN Teaching Assistant – Wandsworth

Protocol Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our supportive partner schools in Wandsworth.
You will be working closely with pupils who have a range of special educational needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, Speech and Language Difficulties, and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). The role requires patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential in a nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN.

Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management.

Implement and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

Support pupils with their social and emotional development.
Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people with SEN (preferred).

Positive, adaptable, and proactive attitude.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A valid DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
