SEN Teaching Assistant – Sutton

Protocol Education are looking for a patient, caring, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our welcoming partner schools in Sutton.
This role involves supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs such as Autism (ASD), ADHD, Speech and Language Difficulties, and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure that every child has the opportunity to reach their potential.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEN.

Assist the class teacher in managing classroom activities and behaviour.

Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

Encourage students’ personal, social, and emotional development.
Requirements:

Previous experience working with children with SEN (desirable).

A positive, adaptable, and empathetic approach.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.
-
A valid DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
