What you'll be doing as a SEN Teaching Assistant

Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs including autism, ADHD, social communication differences, and SEMH

Helping children navigate routines, regulate emotions, and engage with learning

Working closely with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals

Using your psychology insight to understand triggers, build trust, and celebrate small wins

Creating a calm, safe learning environment where pupils feel understood and supported
What we’re looking for

A psychology (or related) degree

Experience with children or young people, paid or voluntary

A patient, positive approach and confidence around behaviour

Someone who’s reflective, resilient, and eager to develop their practice
