SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary -£70 - £85 per day

Location -Teesside

Protocol Education are currently looking to employ a Qualified Teaching Assistant to work within local primary schools that we have in our network. 

Here at Protocol, we work with schools right the way across Middlesbrough, Recar, Clevland, Stockton, Hartlepool, Darlington and County Durham. We work with amazing educators, such as yourself, and pair them with our network of schools 

The successful candidate must be available to work Monday-Friday (full time) and ideally have previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, however, if you have the transferable skills and appropiate qualifications then this is also desirable!  

This particular role is working with children who have SEND needs, so experience working with educational needs is essential.

 

 

The ideal candidate for this role will:

  • SEMH and Trauma informed 
  • Have SEN experience within a school or relevant role
  • Confident in supporting behaviours that challenge with good de-escalation techniques 
  • Valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
  • Can provide referees covering the last 3 years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
