About the Role:
Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Croydon. The role involves working closely with children who have a range of Special Educational Needs, supporting them with both academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and group support to pupils with SEN (e.g. autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language needs).

  • Assist teachers and SENCO in delivering tailored learning plans.

  • Help create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

  • Support pupils’ emotional and social development, encouraging independence.

  • Contribute to behaviour management in a supportive way.

Requirements:

  • Previous SEN experience is desirable but not essential.

  • A patient, caring, and proactive approach.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Right to work in the UK.

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
