About the Role:
 Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Croydon. The role involves working closely with children who have a range of Special Educational Needs, supporting them with both academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- 
Provide 1:1 and group support to pupils with SEN (e.g. autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language needs). 
- 
Assist teachers and SENCO in delivering tailored learning plans. 
- 
Help create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment. 
- 
Support pupils’ emotional and social development, encouraging independence. 
- 
Contribute to behaviour management in a supportive way. 
Requirements:
- 
Previous SEN experience is desirable but not essential. 
- 
A patient, caring, and proactive approach. 
- 
Strong communication and teamwork skills. 
- 
Right to work in the UK. 
- 
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
