Teaching Assistant (Full-Time, SEN & Behaviour Focus)
You know the type of TA who keeps the whole room steady when the day gets a bit wobbly? If that’s you, this role in BS13 will feel right at home.
A primary setting is looking for a compassionate and confident TA to support children from disadvantaged backgrounds, many with additional needs or behaviour challenges. This is hands-on, meaningful work where you’ll be part of a team that genuinely values support staff.
You’ll be:
• Building positive relationships with pupils who need patience and structure
• Supporting children with SEN through clear, nurturing approaches
• Helping to create a classroom that feels predictable and safe
• Working closely with teachers and the SENDCo
Experience with de-escalation, SEMH or Thrive is a bonus. If you’re not Thrive trained yet, don’t worry, we’ll get you onto our free course.
