Are you a passionate and caring individual looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Croydon.

Responsibilities:

  • Support students with a range of SEN needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD).

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, inclusive lessons.

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support.

  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.

  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN (school, care, or youth setting).

  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
