They’re looking for a calm, caring SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with a range of additional needs from January.

You’ll be part of a supportive team that puts pupils’ wellbeing first. If you love creating safe, structured spaces for children to thrive, this one’s for you.

What you’ll be doing

  • 1:1 and small group support within the school’s SEND provision

  • Helping pupils with autism, ADHD, communication needs, and SEMH

  • Supporting routines, emotional regulation, and learning tasks

  • Working closely with SENCOs and class teachers

  • Encouraging confidence and independence day by day

What the school’s looking for

  • Experience in SEND or strong transferable skills

  • Someone patient, reliable, and really good at building trust

  • Confidence supporting behaviour, sensory needs, and communication

  • A DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to complete one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
