SEN Teaching Assistant – Nurture-Focused Role
Location: Peterlee
Pay: £90–£110 per day
Contract: Full-Time
This role is ideal for someone who believes relationships come before learning.
You’ll support pupils who may have struggled in mainstream settings and now need a more individualised, supportive approach. Small class sizes and strong staff teamwork allow you to really get to know each child.
Key duties:
• Supporting learning through tailored approaches
• Helping pupils regulate emotions
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
• Supporting social interaction and confidence
• Working closely with a supportive staff team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
