Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant – Sutton

About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Sutton. The successful candidate will work closely with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) such as Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, or Learning Difficulties, supporting them to reach their educational and personal goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support for SEN pupils.

Assist class teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.

Support with behaviour management and emotional regulation.

Promote a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.

Liaise with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure student progress.
Requirements:

Experience supporting children or young people with SEN.

A positive, caring, and patient approach.
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

Eligibility to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
