SEN Teaching Assistant – Sutton
Location: Sutton, London
Pay Rate: £85 – £96 per day (Depending on experience)

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm and inclusive school in Sutton. This role is perfect for someone passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and helping them progress academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with various SEN needs.

Assist teachers in delivering engaging, well-structured, and differentiated lessons.

Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and emotional well-being.

Help maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.

Adapt learning activities and resources to meet individual student needs.
Requirements:

Experience supporting SEN learners (school, youth work, care, or similar).

Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
