A friendly and supportive Ofsted-rated Good primary school is looking for a dedicated Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right Teaching Assistant.

The school is passionate about inclusion and is seeking someone who genuinely enjoys supporting pupils with additional needs and helping them thrive both academically and emotionally.

The role

  • Providing tailored support to SEN pupils, both 1:1 and in small groups

  • Supporting learning, engagement, and emotional wellbeing in the classroom

  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO

  • Helping to create a calm, positive, and inclusive learning environment

  • Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH

Essential requirements

Please note, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • NCFE CACHE Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learningthis is essential

  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN in a primary school setting

  • A calm, patient, and caring approach

  • Confidence working as part of a wider classroom and SEN team
