Protocol Education is seeking dedicated, patient, and proactive SEND Teaching Assistants to support a secondary special school in Islington on a daily supply basis.
Whether you have prior SEND experience or a genuine passion for supporting young people, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference — one day at a time.

What you’ll be doing:

Supporting students aged 11–16 with SEND needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and MLD

Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and daily classroom routines

Providing focused 1:1 or small-group interventions

Encouraging positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and independent learning skills
You’ll need:

Experience working with children or young people (schools, tutoring, youth work, or care settings welcome)

A calm, compassionate, and flexible approach

DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
