Job Description

 Job Type: Contract, Full-Time hours

 Salary: £90 - £100 Per day

Job Duties:
- Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) in their learning and development
 - Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons
 - Providing one-to-one support to students as needed
 - Helping students with personal care tasks if required
 - Assisting with the management of classroom behaviour
 - Supporting students in accessing the curriculum and educational resources
 
Required Qualifications:
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
 - Experience working with students with SEN
 - Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies
 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 - Ability to work effectively as part of a team
 
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
 - Prior experience in a similar role within an educational setting
 - Knowledge of different SEN conditions and strategies to support them
 - Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
 
Preferred Qualifications:
- First Aid certification
 - Training in manual handling and personal care tasks
 - Additional courses in SEN education or related fields
 
Working Conditions:
- Working hours may vary, including some evenings and weekends for school events
 - Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents
 - Potential exposure to challenging behaviours or emotional situations
 - Physical tasks such as assisting with mobility and personal care

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
