What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including autism, communication challenges, sensory needs, ADHD, and SEMH

  • Helping pupils manage routines, transitions, and changes to the day

  • Working with teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver consistent approaches

  • Offering 1:1 and small group support to build confidence and engagement

  • Using positive strategies to create a calm, reassuring environment

Who we’re looking for

  • Experience in SEND or strong transferable experience from care, youth work, sports coaching, or similar

  • A calm, steady presence who can support children through tricky moments

  • Someone positive, patient, and able to build trust quickly

  • A team player who enjoys working closely with staff to support the whole class
