SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary Support Role
Location: Peterlee
Pay: £90–£110 per day
Contract: Full-Time
We’re seeking a caring and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with additional needs in a primary setting.
This role is about relationships first, learning second, creating a safe foundation so pupils can thrive.
Duties include:
• Supporting SEN pupils across the school day
• Encouraging emotional and social development
• Supporting behaviour positively
• Working alongside teachers and SEN staff
• Helping pupils feel calm and confident

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
