About the Role:
Protocol Education is looking for a caring and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner schools in Sutton. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils with special educational needs (SEN), including autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and emotional or behavioural needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN.

  • Work alongside class teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored support plans.

  • Encourage pupils’ engagement, confidence, and independence in learning.

  • Support pupils with personal care or physical needs when necessary.

  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school or care setting).

  • A calm, patient, and proactive approach.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

  • Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
