SEN Teaching Assistant – Merton

Protocol Education are seeking a dedicated and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our friendly and inclusive partner schools in Merton.
This role involves supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, Speech and Language Difficulties, and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD). The ideal candidate will be compassionate, patient, and committed to helping students achieve both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group support for pupils with SEN.

Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to deliver tailored learning support.

Assist with implementing and reviewing Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

Encourage pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development.
Requirements:

Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (advantageous).

A proactive and caring approach to learning support.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

A valid DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
