SEN Teaching Assistant – Croydon

Pay Rate: £85 – £96 per day (Depending on experience)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Croydon. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and helping them thrive academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN needs.

Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons.

Promote positive behaviour, confidence, and emotional well-being.

Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.

Adapt learning resources to suit individual student needs.
Requirements:

Experience working with SEN children (school, youth work, care, or similar).

Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
