We’re supporting a brilliant SEND setting that works with pupils who have complex learning needs, communication differences, sensory needs, and autism. They’re looking for someone kind, reliable and ready to be part of a warm, supportive team.

What your day could look like

  • Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups with learning, communication and routine

  • Using visuals, sensory tools and structured activities to help pupils engage

  • Working closely with teachers and therapists to deliver consistent support

  • Helping to create a calm, predictable and nurturing learning environment

  • Celebrating every breakthrough, from zipped coats to first words

Who this role suits

  • Experience in SEND schools, PRUs, care or youth work is helpful, but not essential

  • A calm, patient approach with a good sense of humour

  • Confidence supporting pupils with autism or communication needs

  • Someone who can follow guidance while building warm, trusting relationships

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
