SEN Teaching Assistant – Daily Supply Opportunities
Location: London Borough of Newham
We are seeking enthusiastic, caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team on a daily supply basis. Our school supports pupils from Nursery through to Year 6, including children with a range of special educational needs, and we are looking for adaptable individuals who can provide high-quality support either 1:1 or within small group settings.
About the Role:
As an SEN TA, you will play a key part in supporting pupils’ learning, communication, emotional development and independence. You must be confident working flexibly across different year groups, responding to individual needs, and building positive, supportive relationships with pupils and staff.
We are looking for someone who:
✔ Has experience working with children with SEN and/or in a primary setting
✔ Is patient, nurturing and proactive
✔ Can follow support plans and teacher instructions
✔ Works well within a team and independently
✔ Can adapt quickly to different classroom environments and pupil needs
✔ Is confident working 1:1, in small groups or whole-class support

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
