About the Role:
Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to work in schools across Wandsworth. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting children with a variety of Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring they receive the guidance and encouragement needed to reach their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and communication needs.

  • Work alongside teachers to adapt lessons and resources for accessibility.

  • Promote positive behaviour, participation, and independence in the classroom.

  • Support pupils’ academic, emotional, and social development.

  • Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN (school-based or similar).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A patient, proactive, and empathetic approach.

  • Ability to work well within a team.

  • A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
