Job Description:
We are seeking a caring and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join our team in Wandsworth. The successful candidate will support children with additional learning needs, helping them achieve their full potential in a safe and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons tailored for children with SEN

  • Support students individually or in small groups to enhance learning, social, and emotional development

  • Implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) under teacher guidance

  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior

  • Promote inclusion and participation in all school activities

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN is preferred

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude

  • Relevant qualifications or training in SEN or education support is advantageous

  • DBS clearance or willingness to obtain

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
