SEN Teaching Assistant – Croydon

Protocol Education is looking for a caring and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our welcoming partner schools in Croydon.
Role Overview:
 You will be supporting pupils with a variety of special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), learning difficulties, and other additional needs. Your role will involve assisting with classroom activities, supporting individual pupils, and helping create an inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- 
Supporting pupils with their learning and social development.
 - 
Assisting teachers in the delivery of lessons and classroom management.
 - 
Providing one-to-one or small group support where needed.
 - 
Helping to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
 - 
Supporting pupils with behavioural or emotional needs under guidance.
 
Requirements:
- 
Experience working with children, preferably in a school or SEN setting.
 - 
Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
 - 
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
 - 
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of pupils.
 - 
DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.
