SEN Teaching Assistant – Kingston upon Thames

Protocol Education is looking for a caring and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our welcoming partner schools in Kingston upon Thames.
Role Overview:
You will support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), learning difficulties, and other additional needs. Your role involves assisting with classroom activities, providing one-to-one support, and helping create an inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Supporting pupils’ learning, social, and emotional development.

Assisting teachers in lesson delivery and classroom management.

Providing targeted support for individual pupils or small groups.

Creating a safe and inclusive classroom environment.

Working collaboratively with teachers and other staff.
Requirements:

Experience working with children, ideally in an SEN or school setting.

Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.

Team-oriented, adaptable, and flexible.

DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.
