SEN Teaching Assistant – Sutton

Protocol Education is seeking a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support one of our inclusive partner schools in Sutton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about making a positive impact on pupils with additional learning needs.

Role Overview:
You will support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, and Speech & Language needs. The ideal candidate will be patient, proactive, and dedicated to helping students engage, progress, and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 or small-group support to pupils with SEN

  • Assist teachers with delivering personalised learning plans

  • Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment

  • Support behaviour management strategies

  • Provide personal care support when required

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN (school or personal experience)

  • A compassionate and positive attitude

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

  • Reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to long-term work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
