About the Role:
Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Merton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and making a real difference in their education.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning needs.

Assist teachers in delivering personalised learning plans.

Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioural development.

Promote inclusion and independence in the classroom.

Create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
Requirements:

Previous experience supporting children with SEN (in schools or similar settings).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A patient, proactive, and adaptable approach.
-
Ability to build positive relationships with both pupils and staff.

A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
