Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (TA)

About the Role:
Protocol Education is looking for a caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with special educational needs in a school setting. You will work alongside teachers to provide tailored support and help pupils reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with a variety of special educational needs in class and during activities

  • Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)

  • Provide one-to-one or small group support as required

  • Support classroom management and encourage positive behavior

  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN

  • Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills

  • Relevant qualifications (NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent) preferred

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time options available
