Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs in a school based in Merton. The successful candidate will provide tailored 1:1 and group support, helping children develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:

Support pupils with SEN such as autism, ADHD, and speech & language needs.

Work closely with class teachers and SENCO to deliver personalised learning plans.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Encourage independence, confidence, and participation in learning.

Assist with classroom management and differentiated learning activities.
Requirements:

Experience supporting SEN pupils is desirable (training can be provided).

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.

Right to work in the UK.

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
