This is a brilliant role for someone who loves getting to know pupils as individuals and who isn’t fazed when things go off-script. You’ll be supporting children with a range of additional needs, helping them navigate routines, learning tasks and social moments.
What you'll be doing

Supporting pupils with diverse SEND needs, including autism, communication differences and sensory needs

Helping pupils access learning in ways that suit their strengths

Encouraging independence and confidence through gentle, structured support

Collaborating with teachers, therapists and the SENCO to keep support consistent

Using patience, empathy and creative strategies to turn tricky moments into positive ones

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
