Protocol Education is looking for a patient, dedicated, and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a high-achieving mixed secondary school in Brent.
This school is celebrated for its diverse community and its commitment to ensuring no student is left behind. We are looking for someone to start ASAP to provide vital support to students with a range of Special Educational Needs.
THE ESSENTIALS

Location: Brent, North West London (Excellent Jubilee/Bakerloo/Overground links)

Role: SEN Teaching Assistant (1-to-1 & Small Group)

Start Date: ASAP

Pay: £85 - £110 per day (Weekly PAYE)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, Term Time Only
YOUR IMPACT IN THE CLASSROOM
As an SEN TA, you are the bridge between the curriculum and the student. Your day-to-day will involve:

Tailored Support: Working 1-to-1 with students with Autism (ASD), ADHD, or Speech and Language needs.

Emotional Regulation: Helping students manage their emotions and stay engaged during lessons.

Differentiating Work: Breaking down complex tasks into manageable steps to boost student confidence.

Collaboration: Partnering with the SENCO and class teachers to implement Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

The Right Attitude: You are resilient, calm under pressure, and genuinely care about student progress.

Communication Skills: Ability to build strong rapport with teenagers from diverse backgrounds.

Experience: Previous experience in SEN is a plus, but we also welcome Psychology graduates or those from a care/youth work background.

Reliability: A consistent presence is vital for students who rely on routine.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
