About the Role:
Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Croydon. The successful candidate will work closely with students who have special educational needs, providing tailored support to help them achieve their full potential in both academic and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.

  • Assisting the class teacher in delivering differentiated learning activities.

  • Providing one-to-one or small group support as required.

  • Promoting inclusion and fostering a positive learning environment.

  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN (school or childcare setting preferred).

  • A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to working with students.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Valid Right to Work in the UK.

  • An up-to-date DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
