SEN Teaching Assistant – Wandsworth

Protocol Education are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our friendly and inclusive partner schools in Wandsworth.
You will be supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) such as Autism (ASD), ADHD, and social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). This role requires patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping young people achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with additional needs

Assist teachers in planning and delivering tailored learning activities

Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in class

Support students’ emotional and social development
-
Help monitor and record progress in line with IEPs
Requirements:

Previous experience working with children with SEN (in school or similar setting)
-
A calm, supportive and proactive attitude
-
Good communication and teamwork skills
-
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
