SEN Teaching Assistant – Therapeutic Setting
Location: Peterlee
Pay: £90–£110 per day
Contract: Full-Time
This role supports pupils in a therapeutic, nurturing environment where emotional wellbeing is central to learning.
You’ll help pupils feel safe, valued and capable, working closely with staff to deliver consistent support.
The role involves:
• Supporting pupils with SEN and emotional needs
• Helping children build trust and self-confidence
• Supporting learning through flexible approaches
• Encouraging positive relationships
• Being a steady, reassuring presence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
