Position: Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant Location: Bexley

Are you a dedicated and empathetic individual with the ability to positively impact a child's educational journey? Do you possess prior experience in supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?

Protocol Education is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant who has previously worked either one-to-one or within small groups with SEND students. Exciting opportunities are available immediately in Lambeth.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Work effectively within a team environment
  • Demonstrate resilience and the capability to overcome challenges
  • Exhibit compassion and patience when assisting children with SEND
  • Possess prior experience in a similar role
  • Be available to commence work immediately

Role Overview:

  • Provide one-to-one support to students
  • Cultivate a nurturing environment conducive to social, emotional, and educational development
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and SENCOs to devise and implement personalized learning and care plans
  • Monitor and document student progress, reporting to the school's SEN team and ensuring targets are met

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
