SEN Teaching Assistant – Long-Term Specialist Role
Location: Peterlee
Pay: £90–£110 per day
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
This is a long-term opportunity for someone committed to SEN education and child-centred support.
You’ll play a vital role in helping pupils build confidence, emotional security and a positive relationship with learning.
Responsibilities include:
• Supporting pupils with complex needs
• Encouraging independence and self-belief
• Supporting learning and behaviour positively
• Working alongside experienced professionals
• Helping pupils achieve personal milestones

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
