SEN Teaching Assistant (Autism Support) – Camden

Salary: £90–£110 per day
Do you have the patience, empathy, and enthusiasm to support a child with autism in a mainstream primary setting? A wonderful Camden school is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated inclusion team.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Providing 1:1 support for a child with autism, helping them participate fully in classroom life.

Using visual aids, sensory tools, and structured routines to support learning.

Encouraging independence, communication, and positive interactions with peers.

Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and speech and language therapist.

Keeping accurate records and sharing progress with the SEN team and family.

The right candidate will:

Have previous experience supporting children with autism (school-based or otherwise).
