SEN Teaching Assistant – Specialist School (Sunderland)

Pay: £90–£110 per day
Contract: Full-Time, Ongoing
We’re recruiting a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Sunderland that supports children with complex social, emotional and behavioural needs.
This setting is designed for pupils who need a fresh start in education. The focus is on safety, trust and consistency, helping young people rebuild confidence and re-engage with learning at their own pace.
Your role will include:
• Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
• Helping pupils regulate emotions and behaviour
• Supporting learning activities in and out of the classroom
• Encouraging positive relationships and communication
• Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
