SEN Teaching Assistant – Wandsworth
Location: Wandsworth, London
Pay Rate: £85 – £96 per day (Depending on experience)

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Wandsworth. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about helping children with Special Educational Needs reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN needs.

  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging, differentiated lessons.

  • Encourage positive behaviour and support emotional well-being.

  • Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

  • Adapt learning resources and activities based on students’ individual needs.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with SEN children (school, youth work, care, or similar).

  • Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
