Protocol Education is seeking a talented Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a SEN child in a Reception class at a delightful primary school in Harlow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored 1:1 support to a child with SEN in the Reception class.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individualised learning plans.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with the child's academic and social development.
  • Monitor and record the child's progress, contributing to ongoing assessments.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
  • Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning.
