About the Role:

In Sevenoaks, you'll play a crucial role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-on-one assistance and support to students with diverse special educational needs.
  • Collaborating closely with teachers and the school's SENCO to develop personalized learning plans tailored to each student's specific needs.
  • Promoting students' social and emotional development, fostering an environment where every child is valued and encouraged to succeed.
  • Assisting with classroom activities, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications and Skills:

We are seeking individuals who:

  • Have a passion for supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Understand various special educational needs, such as PMLD, SEMH, ASC, ADHD, or challenging behavior.
  • Possess compassion, patience, and adaptability.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students and staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
